Antón Piche is an old rural house that was rebuilt and restored in 1998, with typical, traditional canarian arquitecture. It was the first rural house in Tenerife that obtained the appropriate permits and licences from the Canarian Government. It is located in an agricultural area that provides its guests with a privileged sense of tranquility under the sunny, brilliant skies of the south of Tenerife.
The individual way in which each and every guest is treated, makes staying there an unforgettable memory.
The house has its own Barbeque, two Canarian style patios, garden areas with fruit trees and an ecological vegetable garden, all of which are at full disposition to its guests. It also has a living room where you can enjoy a glass of traditional wine from the area, a library/study, and a kitchen for only the guest’s use, a laundry room and an office area. It is situated near to the centre of Granadilla de Abona which is a small, rural village that is near to the mountains (where you can enjoy the likes of sports, such as: Hiking,
walking, climbing, trail-running, horse riding etc.) and also close to the fascinating beaches of the south of Tenerife, where again you can practice a diversity of sports, including watersports (windsurf, surf, kitesurf etc.)

The municipality of Granadilla de Abona shelters six natural areas that are considered important due to their flora and fauna, that can all be easily seen by following an extensive grid of footpaths. This municipality also has a variety of restaurants and bars or “tascas” as they are  traditionally called in Spain, where you can enjoy all kinds of typical Spanish & Canarian food (fresh  fish, meat dishes, wines and desserts) The rural house Antón Piche has been awarded a certificate for being what is called a BIO-SUSTAINABLE LODGING, which means that it only uses energy saving devices,  recycles all rubbish, and has a non- waste water system.
